Hello, I have a client that is wanting to use her icloud calendar with outlook 2016 but I cant seem to get it to work properly. This is on windows 10 1709 build and Office 2016 Home and Business (not 365) When we try to setup icloud integration we get an error that no default profile is set in outlook when there clearly is one set. Her outlook works fine. She can setup her personal icloud account in outlook and that also works fine, but the icloud calendar will not sync with her iphone or other mac devices. I have all the latest software - El Capitan, Outlook 2016 fully patched, and an iCloud account that I can log into (from Safari) using either [email protected] or [email protected] with thisIsMyPassword. I setup Mac Outlook 2016 as per web instructions. This seems to be a common problem if you google it. Has anyone here been able to make this work or have any ideas at all?? We have reinstalled both Outlook and Icloud several times to no avail This link details what happens when you try and do this in icloud. Hi, My initial thought is that you're best with the 32-bit version of office 2016 (as opposed to the 64-bit version) and there is mention of this near the bottom of the link you provided. I believe that the problem lies with 3rd party developers not fully supporting 64-bit versions of office when developing the add-ins. I promise you I'm not pro or anti Microsoft or Apple here but I believe the burden of support is on Apple's shoulders on this one. I would also be wary of setting the iCloud calendar syncing as this can cause loops if you're using another sync technology (such as activesync) with other accounts.
